LTL freight questions
›How is LTL freight priced in Canada?
Canadian LTL is priced per pallet (pallet position) by destination zone, plus a fuel surcharge as a percentage of the linehaul, plus any accessorial services such as tailgate, residential or appointment delivery. FreightSonar shows every line before you book.
›What counts as one pallet?
A 48 × 40 or 48 × 48 inch footprint up to 84 inches high and 2,000 lb. Heavier or taller freight bills as additional pallets or as a full load; the quote form works it out from your dimensions and weight.
›Can I ship one pallet?
Yes. Single pallets move on the same lanes at the one-pallet rung of the ladder, subject to the minimum charge shown on the quote.
